Mixed Bag Stay: Ideal for Workers, Not Kid-Friend

Stayed at the hotel for a night. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the ripped curtains were a downside. The overall building could use a facelift, but the pool was a highlight. The kitchenette, particularly the stove, needs an upgrade. Ideal for a quick stay for workers but might not be the best choice for families with kids. Note: No reception; key cards are securely stored in a locked safe.

Unfortunately, the TV reception for 7 & 9 were non-existent.

Rather disappointed

It was only an ok stay, I booked my room with a King Bed only to find I was given a room with two single beds, that's ok but the beds were rather small and uncomfortable. On one of the nights, I went to turn on the TV to watch the cricket only to find for some reason there was no TV aerial. I called reception only to be told they had no spare aerials and nothing they could do. My question is why was there no aerial in the first place? I had to sleep with the windows open as the room had a smell to it that wasn't overpowering but a little unpleasant. Shame it was disappointing.

sorry to hear you had single beds and no tv but you didnt see reception or talk to any staff, if you had your bed would of been put into a king as they are the same beds just pushed together and as for tv ariel we have 20 of them in reception so if you had seen us it would of been rectified,

We found this property to be one of the worst we have stayed in. The lounge was falling apart and very uncomfortable and the cushions were also frayed. We chose not to use the stove as the dials had no markings as to which one we were using. The bed was most uncomfortable, not the plush bedding advertised on the website. When we asked for the fly screen to be put back on the balcony window the day manager appeared unwilling to arrange for it to be done. The handyman did do it for us. One night during our stay a person in the adjoining room tried to enter our room uninvited. My husband had to secure the door. Next morning he went to the office to raise our concerns and request the door to be locked. The same day manager trivialised his concern about our safety and was unwilling to address the issue. Two of the cleaning staff came to our room later in the day and secured the door. They were most apologetic. Overall we were unhappy with our stay and would not recommend it.

Thankyou for your feedback but please add how rude and aggressive you were towards the staff in reception, did not want to give any details of your room or name, reception did apologize to you and was fixed immediately you were informed if you had rung that night we could of stopped this issue of door not being locked, you chose not to ring so therefore unaware of your issue until your very rude self came down to reception, thankyou for not going to stay again i really appreciate it.

Smoke alarms flash all night - like a disco in the room Maintenance is below par Carpets stained & generally room looked like it needed make over Try to get a refund for 2nd night due to lack of sleep caused by flashing smoke alarms but hotel would not refund my monies Looks like a tradie hotel very disappointed

The staff was wonderful, but the rooms are a bit grimey. The location is good but it’s on a very busy road
