We were bummed that the Hot Tube wasn't working. But other then that, all expectations were met. The Inn was well decorated. We enjoyed some time in the yard. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The American River Inn is a cute old hotel located in Georgetown, CA. Established in 1853 if definitely has CA Gold Rush credentials. I loved the place and just generally love this sort of walk back in time cute and classy hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere charming. If you are going to stay in the CA Gold Country do things right and stay at the American River Inn in the heart of historic Georgetown.

Posted 4 Jan 2024 on HotelsThis is a jewel we found for a birthday trip for my wife. It was like stepping into a piece of history. The decor was amazing. There was a sitting room downstairs where the hosts provided a wine and cheese reception. Breakfast at the big table in the morning was amazing. The room was comfortable and perfect for us. The staff was extremely friendly.

Posted 13 Nov 2023 on HotelsIf you want to experience a Gold Rush Hotel, the American Inn is it! Authentic right down to the floorboards. The owner is super friendly and breakfast was world-class. I would definitely recommend staying here.
