Great location to eating places. All within walking distant. New lane, Kimberley food street. Chowraster markets, Clear Line Nasi Kandar .. all nearby. The hotel is an heritage venue.. the suite are actually adjoining rooms which gives good space and privacy for 4 pax. The wooden antiquity wardrobe doors creaks. And toilet doors creaks too. We stayed at the ground floor rooms facing the parking lot. Could be noisy at night when people talked loudly at the carpark. But it’s just our lock on that particular day. Otherwise it’s super convenient to walk from street to the room.

Sanctuary in George Town
Posted 22 Feb 2024 on HotelsAfter 24 hours solid travelling the Terraces was a welcoming sanctuary for us to recover on the first night and thereafter a well located base for our visit to George Town. The hotel only provides rooms which is no problem with so many good eating places around. Everything was very good quality and well maintained. The artwork in the lobby was fun. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Nice building rooms had all you needed.
Safe didnt work but stored at the front desk. Housekeeping was just ok

Great little hotel, very boutique focused, great street art throughout the lobby. Lisa the manager was extremely helpful and gave great advice on where to go and where to eat. Only downside was no bar or anywhere near by to go for a drink but saying there’s plenty of fabulous eateries very close. Would recommend if you want a small and quiet place to stay right in town.
