The place is ok. Its away from the main center so there is not a lot to do walking distance. Would be good if you are looking for a scape and disconnect, however they receive a lot of families and groups that make the stay a bit noisy.

Pleasant stay

Pleasant stay at SCAPES. Although it is opposite a construction site, our room faced the courtyard so it was very quiet. The hotel is a 10 mins drive from restaurants so not an issue. There are free onsite parking too.

We arrived early at the hotel and waited until 2:50 to check in. After providing the reservation information signed the document and they asked us to wait until 3:00 pm. At 3:05 pm they gave us 1 room and no information they did not have the information for the second room. Once in the room there’s no way to dial room service, housekeeping, reception or any in-house extensions. There was no water in the room and no way to order it. The refrigerator had nothing. Besides the beds there’s nothing in the room. The television did not work, I could not watch the NFL games that were going on. Two of us are vegan but the restaurant does not serve anything vegan or vegetarian food. It was one of the most horrible experience. I do not recommend Expedia keeping this hotel as the option. I’ll not stay here even if I get free room.

Room is clean. No indoor pool as claimed. Games room is level 1 is closed. Road leading to hotel is very dusty, muddy and many construction trucks gives unsafe and unserene feel

Nice hotel but 20mins drive from Genting

Hotel is clean. Breakfast is good . room is spacious. staffs are also nice and polite. the only issue is this hotel location is v v far from genting. WITHOUT car, it is totally inaccessible. you can even walk to the nearest town which is 5mins drive away. the small town is the half hill area.

So so and overpriced

Check in around 3pm and it was awkward - was told there are 3 breakfast slots. 7.30am,8.30am,9.30am but there was only 7.30am slot available. Room was ok but smelt really bad. Breakfast was decent Be sure to plan 30-45 mins to check out because the hotel uses an archaic system where they hold you hostage at reception until someone has physically checked their rooms.

Nice and clean property, good spacious design with very friendly staff. Only downside is that there is lack of transport out to the main areas as the property is very secluded. Will suggest they adopt a shuttle service if possible to help alleviate the lack of transport
