Having paid for a room with the 3 twin bed option, we had to pay €35 upgrade to get the 3 beds! Then, as we were given our room key cards, they mentioned that they were having some plumbing problems… didn’t specify. I asked if this would be sorted out today… “yes, we expect so”. The next morning, the water was freezing… we had to shower in that! It’s a 4* hotel… surely, there should be some sort of refund? Otherwise, the room was great!

Very dated. Hard, uncomfortable bed. Room too hot and AC did not work.

Basically, during winter we can only have warm air and in summer cold air. The bedroom was super heated, 27C at night in spite of the heating having been turned off. The staff offered to open the window (special key needed) but the noise from the traffic and the constant ambulances was deafening. The safe didn’t work and a member of staff had to repair it. They didn’t tell us that the biscuits left in the room weren’t complimentary and I have been left with unexplained pending charges on my credit card totalling far more than what Expedia quoted, even allowed for additional charges. Breakfast also poor with very salty food. Altogether an unpleasant experience which I will not repeat.

Retro - not a high quality

Hotel in good location, great access but this is retro hotel - nothing works in the room, old furniture, not invested for at least 3 decades, bathtubs yellow from age, old carpets and smell of old clothes- for this price look for something else

Our second stay over the Christmas holidays. Conveniently placed near the old city and only a short walk from the main train station. Only inconvenience, the air conditioning is not turned on during the winter and the rooms get quite warm, 24/25 celsius.
