Buildings definitely need some renovations; door to the room was broken, walls are paper thin, as well as carpenters bees living in every crevice. Staff was great and the room was clean.

Our room was squeaky clean. The rug and the love seat needed replacing but no complaints on the rest of the room. We were able to park right outside our room most of the time and if not, it was fairly close.

The only reason this property didn’t get a full 5 stars is because it is an older property. I didn’t love the carpet in our room but really, that was the only negative of our trip. And we were told by an employee that they are working on updating the flooring and the property, in general. The River Terrace is a great location! I loved the creek in front of the property, the covered bridge leading to the property, and the walkability to the Gatlinburg strip. The River Terrace sits right behind Baskin’s Creek which is right across the street from The Village.
I loved the private balcony on our room, the bed was very comfortable with ample pillows, and the shower pressure was wonderful! We are already looking at staying at The River Terrace in the future.
Also, every one of the staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and looked like they generally enjoyed their job.

Super Close to everything in Gatlinburg and parking was great. A couple silly things I didn't like: 1. only 1 small trash can in room 2. Balcony door would lock person on the balcony, if door closed all the way.

Nice place to stay and easy accessibility to to room from parking garage also walking distance to everything. Loved my stay!
