I ended up checking out and not staying there. The hotel is full of construction/railroad workers that live there long term. The door to room they tried to have me stay in had been pried open and deadbolt would not lock. I felt too unsafe to stay there overnight.

Overcharged for unwanted room with no working TVs
Posted 29 Jan 2024 on HotelsI was set up in a one bedroom suite for the first night and charged $239 before taxes. There were two tv's in the room and neither one worked. When the front desk was asked about the tv's they said their maintenance guy would be there in 2 days (not helpful). I was still charged the full price and when I went to change rooms the next day, I was stuck back in the same suite, with no working tv's. The front desk staff was very friendly but not able to help much or get someone who could help find a solution to the problems. The room was mostly clean which was good.

$200 a night for a room that was spacious, had decent amenities, but was in bad need of a refurbishment. Paint, wall coverings and furniture were beat up. And carpet was torn and or wet in spots. Staff was friendly and would have asked for a different room but none were available that fit needs of our party.
