No vacancy. I had a reservation. When I tried to register, door locked. Note saying call this long distance no.. It's 90 outside temp. No call back. I see another note pasted to another window to call this other no. for registration. Manager finally showed up. Surly. I was given a room where a ladder was in front of my window and all parking spaces taken by construction crew. I asked for another room - again he was surly. No more rooms, he said. No one else complained. he said. Manager waited for a yr and half for roofing crew and they were more important I was. I will never stay there again. I have photos.

Dear Sour From the Start, How could we forget you? You began grumbling straight out of the chute. Why, the moment you declared your allegiance to the culture of complaint, did you refuse the full refund offered you if you would only leave? Your room showcased fresh flooring, tile, paint, and furniture. We have now attempted to cleanse it of negative energy following your departure. It took years to arrange for new roofing in our rural area. Understand that the installers drive 300 miles round trip every few days to complete the job, and labor in extreme summer heat. Please excuse their ladder and support vehicle parked out front that you found distressing, inactive though they were. Must we apologize for constantly upgrading our property? Other guests complimented the improvements the same night of your stay. Hopefully you have fulfilled your purpose on this glorious planet by carving a trail of ill will. Congratulations on vowing never to return. Wishing you a brighter future. In cold hell, in thicket, how abstract (as high mind, as not lust, as love is) how strong (as strut or wing, as polytope, as things are constellated) how strung, how cold can a man stay (can men) confronted thus? -Charles Olson

Would stay again and good cost compared to others

Though the roofing was being worked on it did not interrupt guests. Room was larger than expected, bathroom up to date, on site manager pleasent and met us after we drove up to register though it was late.

Very nice owners. Slowly updating the property. We had an updated double room that was very comfortable. Easy walk to town for eating and grocery.

Okay just for one night

If you need one night stay, well fine. Don't exspect much. The town is a Ghost Town. Only thing open is Rays Market where I got a darn good pastrami sandwich. There were a bunch of teenage kids running around. I smelled pot everywhere. Rooms are hard to come by in this area and for one night it was ok but also overpriced. A tent in a National Park would be better

Just fine for passing through!

It was a good stay, exactly what we needed while we were passing through. Nice to have parking on site and check in was easy enough. Hot water, nice bed. The only negative was that the heat wasnt working. We didnt figure this out until after 10pm, so we didnt want to bother anyone at that point. Otherwise decent room.
