The property didn’t prepare for the correct party that I reserved. I got the correct items when I asked but they got it wrong again on the second night.

Best location in the city. Easy access to beach and the other places.

Pretty central location with the lake on one side and the beach on the other. Can walk to either side and explore. The hotel does have some wear & tear in the rooms but honestly, probably one of the better locations in Gangneung. The views from the top are amazing in the evening. You do need a car if you want to visit other spots like Cafe Alley (blocks with cafes across from the beach). Both the lakeside & the beachside have walking paths - highly recommend walking along the lake as well. Would stay there again if going back to Gangneung. Don’t forget your bathing suit - it is a bit pricey - but worth taking a dip at their infinity pool on the rooftop if on vacay and okay to splurge a bit on an “experience”.
