"Room, staff & amenities were good, the parking garage is a handful to deal with especially when busy.,. And do not bring a big vehicle!! We had to use the special entrance and parking was tight. We were there for parent weekend at the U and there was a furry convention (500+ people in big furry outfits) and navigating elevators and getting out of the parking garage was a slight hassle. Hotel is clean, Starbucks was great. Would stay again wont rent a land yacht so we could park easier."

"Great downtown location, literally attached to the City Center shopping center. Walking distance to many restaurants and temple square. We had a great stay with one hiccup. On Expedia I booked the Deluxe King room with the upgrade of a City View. Both the Deluxe King and the upgraded room with the view lists a "balcony". When we arrived we were put in a room without a balcony and it was on the 7th floor with a view of rooftops towards the temple square. I mentioned to the guy checking us in that I paid for the upgrade with the balcony and city view and he said he didn't have any rooms with balconies available. When we checked into our room, we weren't satisfied. There were cleaning supplies still in the room, the towels from the prior guests were on the floor outside our door. The floor was sticky and the view as "sub par". I called the front desk and requested a different room and Brittany came through. She put us in a room with a balcony and a city view. (after we were told there weren't any available.) Expedia shouldn't advertise that all rooms have balconies. I believe it's on the 15th and 16th floor ONLY. From that point forward, our stay was perfect. We loved our room, our view, the balcony. Super comfortable beds too. FYI parking is $29 for self-parking. $49 for Valet."

"Upon arriving, I was notified that the hotel would be short staffed, & I had the option of staying in their other hotel, or going to the other hotel to check-in, pick up my key there & go to the hotel I had booked to open their doors & be in my room with no staff. I apparently was the only person at all in that hotel that night, with no staff & no other people staying overnight. I was okay with that, however, I could not find the ice machine at all for my champagne. I called multiple times the other hotel to try and contact somebody as to where the ice machine was, but calls were not picked up. I finally found an unplugged ice machine in the maid's closet. I plugged it in & turned it on for 30 mins to get some ice for myself. The jets in my room's elegant hot tub did not work, but I still enjoyed the tub. The room i stayed in was the secret garden room, & was very pretty inside with painted gardens on the wall, etc. The next morning, i received breakfast at my door which was great, & my calls to the hotel for an iron & ironing board were brought to me as well. The staff was nice & helpful the morning after my stay when they were there. I just wish there was better communication on the night I was staying there."
