New pools are fantastic. Remodeled rooms are very nice. Renovation of lobby, restaurants and many hallways were a major inconvenience and unsightly. Basically, a nice pool with a clean room hidden on a construction site.

The staff here went above and beyond for us. This time of year is off-peak so we had the pool complex mostly to ourselves & that was amazing. The food & drinks were delicious, service was impeccable, and our room was very high end with Balmain toiletries. Very pleased!

This used to be our favorite resort in Scottsdale. Not sure we'll stay again. First, Expedia listed a room that wasn't even available, so we're chasing a refund for the extra we paid. Second, when we got there the credit card machines weren't working for incidentals, so they asked us to come back the next day, which we had every intention of doing. They called and woke us up the next morning to get credit card information the next morning, and when we didn't answer, they SENT SOMEONE TO OUR ROOM to try and get it. They left a letter asking us to cooperate with them. When we left to get brunch, we gave them a credit card to have on file, like we had intended to the whole time. The hotel is under construction, which is irritating, but will end at some point, so I try not to hold it against them. We did have to go up the elevator to the 4th floor, cross the hotel, and take a second elevator down to the 3rd floor to get to our room, which felt a little extreme, but I could look past that too. The thing that bothered me is that their renovations to "improve" the hotel have included removing all of the best parts of their pool. They used to have these amazing greek style structures and they removed them. Now the pool is only so-so instead of amazing. Our newly renovated room had a throw pillow someone had cut with a knife, and a ring on the table that housekeeping hadn't bothered cleaning. Food was overpriced for the quality. Overall just not a pleasant experience. Staff was great

Dear Harmony.Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We would be more than happy to help with Expedia any way we can. I am truly sorry that you were woken up during your stay as we try not to call any guest in their room until after 10am as to not interrupt their slumber. I would also like to apologize for the inconvenience you were caused by our card reader not working and delaying your check in process. While we appreciate you being understanding during this time of transition, I still cannot apologize enough for the disappointing experience you had. We do hope that you will visit our property in the future when we become a Grand Hyatt Resort. Sincerely,
