Worst experience ever!! The room was so small you could hardly walk around the bed. The toilet was jammed against he wall. The decor was old and worn and did seem clean. The bed pillows did not even have pillow cases on them. The worst part was the noise. The motel is right on a highway and obviously no sound reducing measures were taken. You could hear every car that went by. When I told the manager / owner that I was not going to stay he got very rude and snippy. I gave him the key and left. I assumed he would credit my card since I did not spend 5 minutes there. However, after submitting a complaint, I was informed the owner refused to issue a refund. Avoid this place at all costs!

HiYou have stayed couple of hours in the first room and used all the amenities. When you complained, we gave you another queit double bed room and you stayed there also for an hour. When you checked out, our manager clearly stated to you that you stayed for more than 2 hrs, used all the ameneties and there wil be no refund as per the policy and you also agreed to the policy.This is a scam where some guests like you stay for an hour or 2, use all the amenities and then create a fake story for getting refund.

Small one bedroom with old worn upholstered chair but everything is clean. No desk, one side table with lamp. Refrigerator and microwave work fine. No hairdryer. Adequate hot water. The manager will give you a bag of ice if you ask. The office has a small retail section where you can buy chips, soft drinks and household items.

I was a single traveler so the room I stayed in was small. I did not mind this for the price I paid. However, the fridge did not keep anything cool and I couldn't get hot water.

On a trip last fall, I stayed at the Holiday Inn in LaVale Its now a Best Western. There was an error in the reservation and the room had 1 bed for 2 people. There were no folding beds or non smoking rooms available. The room smelled moldy and I had to sleep in a chair. This time I went to Claryville Motel. The room had 2 beds and bathroom. No tub, shower stall was easier for me. Windows opened for fresh cool air. Its older but suited me fine. If you want to sleep, shower and get on your way, save money and stay here.
