Not really recommended.

Check in was weird as the reception was closed. There was an envelope with our room key. Room was OK but very small and the shower could not be closed due to weird construction. The shower floor was very slippery. Breakfast buffet was excellent. There is no restaurant and the nearest place to eat is some kilometers across a rather steep descent.

Nice hotel in pleasant location

The hotel is in a nice location with good views and while a 15 min walk from the town centre the last part is quite steep to walk up. Breakfast was ok but not exceptional and could go on a little later at the weekend. My room was in a separate building but that was fine and it was comfortable.

Dirty. Inconvenient. Nice view.

The room was dirty. Even found empty beer bottles in the middle of the floor. Extremely small. May be few square meters to walk around. Confusing check in.

Hotel in wunderschöner Lage am Schlossberg und gutem Service. Mein Zimmer bot Blick über Freiburg bis zu den Vogesen. Zu Fuß sehr steiler Aufgang. Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen/Geh Behinderung, die mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln anreisen, sollten mit dem Taxi anfahren, da sonst sehr beschwerlich.
