Great B&B / Breakfast was amazing!

Our stay at the James place couldnt have been better. Conviently located,very clean,awesome breakfast,the owners were super nice and helpful,no unpleasant surprises when we arrived. The house was just as advertised. Cant say enough nice things about our stay. Definitely would stay there again.

This has got to be one the cutest places I've ever stayed at! The hosts were wonderful and friendly. The location was a quick walk to everything including shops and restaurants. The breakfast was super delicious. Thank you Bill and Mary Ann!

Disappointed
Posted 3 Oct 2023 on HotelsThe proprietors were very courteous. Our main complaint was the bathroom size. Looked like a closet was converted to a bathroom--literally. Comparable to a travel trailer size. Your knees almost bumped the door while on the toilet. You could sit and wash your hands in the sink with the shower at the other elbow. Everything was clean and the room was quaint. Would not return, too that room anyway.

The James Place Inn exceeded all expectations. Our room was clean, lovely, and inviting. Mary Ann and Bill were great hosts and the breakfast was delicious. I have a gluten intolerance and my meal was made to accomidate my needs... including gluten free homemade scones. Their attention to detail and friendly interaction with guests made this the perfect place for a long Maine weekend stay.
