We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely area, wonderful staff, clean room, and was perfect for our long weekend.

We wanted to stay somewhere close to Freeport-this spot is very convenient and the parking is free. Upon entering the hotel unit, there was an unpleasant smell(the premises is listed as no smoking but there was a strong smell of marijuana and a perfume smell perhaps used to try to mask it). The rooms are very compact- definitely tighter in overall space than the Best Western we stayed in near Acadia. Check-in time is 3:00 but we were turned away when we attempted to check-in even slightly earlier than that time. We understood and came back closer to 5:00pm but the next morning, as we saw rooms being cleaned very early- 7:30am, it was a safe assumption that our rooms were likely ready and we could have been allowed to check-in an hour earlier if the individual at the desk would have been flexible. Again- not a deal breaker but some understanding would have been appreciated. The breakfast was typical of what you might expect. Overall, as this was our first stay at an Ascend Hotel, it wasn’t exactly the experience we had hoped for.

Hello Jennifer, I apologies for you not checking in early. We do have an early check in fee as all the other hotels. If you were not will to pay this we do ask for you to come back. Sorry this is all hotels policy. I am sorry that your experience was not what you hoped for. Our breakfast is better the the normal breakfast. As our rooms are a little smaller the other hotels the comfort of the room is cozy.

Cool little place! Close to Freeport (not walking distance to things) but just a tiny short drive! Slept amazingly and our room was great. My only complaint is that when i checked in, the front desk agent said my room number out loud for the whole lobby to hear which i don’t like. Better safe than sorry when it comes to that stuff!

We arrived late at night and our room was dirty. Dark curly hairs in the toilet and on towels, and feces on the toilet seat.

Hello Paul, I thank you for taking the time and leaving us your review, but I don't think you are accurate. We do not have a dirt hotel. Our Housekeeping staff take pride in cleaning the rooms. The Hotel was remodeled little over 3 years ago and yes maybe it does need another one, but it's not that old. I do not agree with your review.

The place was clean and staff was very accommodating. Perfect for what we needed just for a one nights stay.
