We were shocked at the prices for hotels in Portland (in my opinion a way, overrated town) so we stayed here primarily because of price. But it's a nice gem worth considering. Room was comfortable. Breakfast nice. Host welcoming. And walking distance to the Freeport outlets and across from that now-famous McDonald's located in a historic house. Definitely eat at the Jameson Tavern (walking). One of the best burgers we've had, great fries too. (If you are tired of lobster and high prices).

This is a historic bed and breakfast in a lovely residential area only a block from the business district in Freeport. The host, Connie, was very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! I was here 2 nights in different rooms, one upstairs, one downstairs. Both were very comfortable, clean, and quiet. I would also say the value far exceeded what you could get at any hotel. I was very pleased to stay here.

What a quaint inn! Connie was so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back and bring our dogs next time!

Do not pass on this gem. I had a great, relaxing, enjoyable visit. Connie is a luv. She is so personable and will make sure you are happy. The room was beautiful and I don’t think I have ever slept in a more comfortable bed. Breakfast was hot and delicious. I will absolutely be back. Thank you, Connie.

The owner is very personable and met me at the front door. Very charming and quaint B&B. Location is great and walkable to everything in town.

We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our conversations with other guests. Our host was present and made herself available if any issues came up. An easy walk to LL Bean and other shopping as well as dinner
