WORST HOTEL STAY EVER!

I had a very horrible experience with this hotel. Everything was overpriced. It claims to be 4 stars but the rooms were dirty, the food was stale, there was no room service the whole time I stayed several days. The front desk staff lady I don't know her name but she was Danish in her Mid 30-40's she was extremely rude to me she wanted me to wait around 2 hours in the lobby instead of the room on a flloor not a single staff was cleaning because they could not locate my laundry I had given then 2 days prior. With heavy luggage after spending a fortune on their dirty, unsanitary hotel. I tolerated all that including waiting in long lines with huge family crowding to go to the swimming pool. They were loud people coughing everywhere I saw no Covid precautions in place at all. Everything was old and outdated. The front desk staff lady was so rude to me I asked to speak to a manager and she gave me a "Stepherd Wives" grim ignoring me told me to go over there like a little boy. I keep repeating my request until a guest behind me a man rudely interupted me and this lady incited this whole thing by stonewalling me and rudely disregarding me. My laundry should have been ready at 11 am at check out they had it for 2 days. They charge 800DKK to do simple 3 outfits. I tolerated all of it after spending $170 a night to basically stay in a dump then the manager calls me up and basically abuses me during a dinner hour totally and completely unprofessional. Lotte Anderson a nightmare! -WORST!

At the outset, I must say that I am sincerely sorry to read your review of our hotel. Despite this anonymous review, we have no doubts at all about who you are, which is why my reply to you will also refer to the conversation we had after you checked out in connection with your visit here. I am therefore very surprised that during our 1 hour long conversation you did not mention these many points which are highlighted here in your review.Initially, you point out the lack of room service. At Scandic, we work very hard with sustainability, which is why we have launched an initiative where we leave it up to guests whether they want their room cleaned. This means that we do not automatically clean rooms when we have guests staying for several days in a row, but give them the choice. The initiative means that we save 10 million liters of water every year and at the same time reduce our power consumption considerably. We think this is the most environmentally correct choice, but the choice is also yours, and should you want cleaning during your stay, you just have to notify reception the night before. So if you have not notified us of this, it is correct that we have not cleaned your room. We clean the hotel every single day, so you can always have your room cleaned.Furthermore, it surprises me that you think our food should be spoiled, since during our conversation you praised the waiter to the skies, and on top of that you told us that it had been so good and that you had also tipped our employee.Here at the hotel, we have check-out from our rooms at 11.00 - and I must - as when we spoke deeply regret that you had not been offered to stay in your room after check out until your laundry came from the dry cleaners. Furthermore, you believed that our employee had been rude to you. This was one of the reasons why we chose to compensate you with a gift card.We are here at the hotel to create great hotel experiences for the many people, and we have a fantastic water park, which is why we also have many families with children staying at the hotel during weekends and holiday periods. It is correct that we had many children here during your first stay in week 1, but the reverse was not the case during your last stay in week 2, when we only had 9 children on the first night - and 12 children on the second night of the whole the hotel.COVID19 – here in Denmark we have no restrictions at the moment. But despite this, here at the hotel we have chosen to have hand sanitizer available to our guests in both the lobby, reception, bars and restaurants, just as we also have gloves in the breakfast restaurant, and where there is also signage recommending that our guests use them, and spritz off.We have a laundry service - and if you want the clothes returned on the same day as the laundry receives them, you must tick a box on the laundry receipt and this will also incur an express fee. You had obviously not done this, which is why we don't get the laundry back unt

Parking convenient - restaurants nearby

Right in the heart of town, parking was very convenient just across from the hotel. They gave you a note to place on your dash board. Overall good stay w many restaurants nearby. Room will be good to have a fridge and could do with a bath mat even though the design of the shower door is very good
