Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. Super rude staff and facilities are awful. It says Aircon available but the hotel won't turn it on, one person said they only turn on in summer, it was 27°C but they refused to turn it on. Another person said that the caretaker isn't here but they will switch it on tomorrow, the so called manager said next morning that it's broken, after telling her that one of the staff said they only turn on in summer she changed her statement and yes that's true... We requested for fans if they cannot turn on the AC for any reason and they refused at first then after said that all fans were being used by other guests. The check in was terrible as I had prepaid everything but their system said you have prepaid too much. Apparently I had to pay the tax again. Upon checking into the room, the exhaust doesn't work in the toilet, the shower and toilet is separate with the sink outside in the open... The shower door is see through :( which was one of the biggest issues and is almost always visible from all angles of the room. Due to this we asked to change the room and the staff member said all the rooms are same and said you can just book another room that way you can stay separately. After the 8 hour journey I was too tired to argue so booked another room at a much higher price at which point the only reason I booked this hotel was that it was slightly cheaper than others...The parking was the hotel is very expensive, €15 for the night and $1.50/h.

Self check in ruined my stay

The self check in machine was useless. Never got a booking reference. Really fiddly to use. No one wants to get stuck with this stupid machine after a long and tiring journey. In the end The Darmstadt receptionist checked me in easily anyway, so why not just let me check in with a human next time?

Convenient location near center and not far from train station. Overall good conditions of room and hotel and service. Due to environmental reasons (?!) rooms are not done unless requested one day before

The pillow was so small, I had to put my handbag underneath my head. I asked for bigger or more pillows but didn't get it. I just don't understand the idea behind putting a baby pillow!! The parking fee is 7 euros which was not mentioned. The check-in 4:00 pm and out 11:00 a.m are not convenient. check-in 1 hr early will cost you 30 eu!! Otherwise ok

Overall good and convenient accomodation in the central area of the city. The check-in was rather confused: got first a wrong room. Then 2 times non working key-card.

Nice hotel centrally located in Darmstadt. Modern, simply furnished, well connected to station and city center. Kiind staff. Good quality vs price. Only minus is that room cleaning is not done unless requested

The hotel was centrally located and close to the things we wanted to see. The modern decor was the style I really like and the room was extremely comfortable.
