Fransisco at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful! Also the restaurant Lona was fantastic including the waitress Camila. Beach staff was also helpful and attentive.

Had a few issues with our stay. Nothing crazy but just disappointed. The towels in the room were dirty(looked like blood stains) and ripped. The toilet was clogged. Had crumbs left on the night stand and hairs on the floor from the person before us. Ordered room service and was told that the pizzas they offer were personal size-didn’t realize a traditional 16 slice pizza was considered a personal now so we got two pizzas and only ate one. Not to mention they weren’t very good. Also they have a service grat for the room service so I asked the guy who brought up the food about it, he rolled his eyes and then walked off when I signed. Oh and keep in mind when you book an ocean front room with a balcony, it’s not a balcony. It’s a sliding door with a railing and no access to sit or move about. On the other side the view was great and the bed was comfortable.

Issues from check in to check out. They offered early check in when i arrived, just stated that it wasn't on a very high floor. When i went down later to ask them about the AC I asked the guy if it's oceanfront and he said "oh it looks like you were upgraded to a partial ocean view" i had explained i paid for ocean view and they just said they would tell the manager. I had also asked them to fix the ac because it was set to 71 and we were unable to adjust it or even shut it off while my mom and the toddler were freezing. I had to go down a few hours later and ask again because nobody came to fix it. Finally a man came and told me they there is only the option of on and off, no changing the temperature. He shut it off and we were unable to turn it back on in the morning. It got so hot that the floor was wet from condensation. All they offered was to remove the reaort fee. That's not much more then the price change from an ocean view that i paid for to the partial ocean view we received. The tub didn't drain without you holding the drain up manually and there's a closet style door that creates a window to the bathroom. It doesn't even lock so if someone bumps into it, everyone gets to see you in the bathroom. I would never stay here again. No where near marriott standards. I forgot to mention the construction that started around 9 or 10 am

Checkin went smoothly. Our room wasn’t ready but they held our bags and we used the pool until it was. When we first walked into the room it smelled - like there was water damage or mildew. That night I could hear water dripping constantly. Here water was leaking from the ceiling in the closet. My clothes got wet and the safe was wet inside. I called down to complain. They sent someone right away to fix it. When he opened the door in the ceiling a towel dropped from the opening (it was soaking wet) and water just dropped to the floor. Here a pipe had been leaking and a towel was placed there as a bandaid. We went to the front desk to complain and they moved us to another room. This room had no smell! I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t offer to comp something for us for the inconvenience of it all.

Our first room door wouldn’t open, poor customers service, had to be moved to other side of the grounds. People smoking weed all over.
