Confusing hotel
Posted 22 Aug 2021 on HotelsThe staff were very welcoming. It’s a bit difficult to get to the hotel as it stands on one side of what used to be a railway crossing that has been decommissioned. My GPS was very confused. This is an old hotel that feels a bit tired.

Quiet hotel

Pros: It was quiet - which was good after a long journey from the south of France. It had a restaurant and bar which meant we didn’t have to venture out
Cons: A refresh of the room would be good.
Location: The hotel was at the edge of the village and at the back of the hotel there was a view of the field etc.
The room was quiet but small. In need of refurbishment Smelt a little fusty. The majority of staff were polite but some were obviously overworked especially in the restaurant. However the food was very wholesome and tasty

A touch of 'Allo 'Allo

We found the hotel very room out dated the mattress had a terrible sag in the middle. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was renovated which was nice. There were very few restaurants in the area and the ones that were close were closed.
