Beautifully furnished, very comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Staff were so nice and helpful. Delivered beyond expectations, loved our stay.

The front desk staff were not helpful and were rude. I do not speak Italian and they would not speak to me in English. I checked out after being in the room for only 15 minutes. The room was very old and everything was extremely dated. The air conditioning was not working and the bed was not comfortable. When I went to the desk to check out the staff suddenly knew how to speak English. I was then offered a different room even though I was told there was nothing else available when I checked in. Would not recommend this hotel.

Dear Ms. Bianca, We are very sorry to read this kind of review, written after that you were in our hotel just for 15 minutes. We think that it’s very difficult to have an objective idea about a place after being stayed there for just such few moments. We see you considered our staff at the front desk not helpful, not knowledge of English and rude. This is maybe the first time we read that in a review and usually it’s probably the most appreciated aspect of our hotel. Regarding the air conditioning , our colleague came in the room just after 2 minutes you called her in order to convert the thermostat from the heating to the fresh air, despite the external temperature in that moment was more or less of 2 degrees. You found the room old and dated; we think that it could be normal since we are in historical Palace built in the sixteenth century. In the 2020 we did a total restyling adding some modern elements with the historical ones, but of course the architecture of the hotel stayed that one of the Renaissance time. In any case, we proposed you to see another room of the same typology, in order to try to meet your needs, but you categorically refused it and you told us that you wanted to go away. We would like to clarify that, at the beginning, we told you that there were no other room available just because you asked us an upgrade and we were fully booked. Beautiful property and so conveniently located to restaurants, Florence museums and the train station if you arrive and depart by train in Florence.

So worth it!
