Disappointing hotel stay

The room was so small, wifi didn't work. Very hot in the room, had to open the window at 6 am with 4 degrees outside. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, however, if it's a twin room call it twin and not double! Dinner was OK, service needs improvement. The wine list was too limited. Very small assortment of beer. Overall average hotel that doesn't fit neither price, nor description.

A ‘4*’ hotel with Dirty, smelly room

Very disappointed with the stay. 1. The hotel advertised as a pet friendly dag. So I booked the hotel a long time ago and informed the hotel about we will bring a dog. There are extra charge for it, fair enough. However when we got there only to find out they don’t provide anything for the dog. They must remove pet friendly, as they are NOT. 2. 4*, really, I would say no star based on the experience. Small, dirty and smelly room and bathroom. The bathroom grout are completely with black diet and the show panel as well. 3. Extremely slow service at the reception even they have many staff there, unorganised . The same at the restaurant.

Two nights wasn't enough!

We had an amazing two-night stay in Gullmarsstrand Hotell. The hotel itself if beautiful, modern and is in such a unique location. I could have happily sat in the bar/restaurant and stared at the surroundings for hours. The rooms were clean, neat and well appointed. A little extra sound proofing could've been useful, but it wasn't a big issue. The food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (especially Emma). On reflection, two nights wasn't enough. Can't wait to go back again.

Not holding up to the looks

It took 30 minutes to check-in, despite there was no line. The receptionist was simply gone, and even though 4-5 staff members approached us, they did nothing to help us, simply indicating this was not their job. The restaurant was limited in number of guests due to "Corona", even though there were many empty seats and places to sit. When asked for another reference to eat, no one knew anything. Room was OK and functional. Nothing spectacular, but felt fresh and comfortable. The facilities are very well kept, and the venue is very pleasing to the eye. Overall I believe the site gives a better impression than the staff can deliver.

Loved the property, service, amenities and the beauty but it was really difficult as a vegetarian to have any food options at all.

It was a disaster, so bad service , very expensive

The location is really good, really nice beach, but we experienced bad service , first we had to wait for so many hours to check in we arrived at 13:00 but the rooms were not ready so we checked in at 17:00 but they really apologized and they offered us free räkmarkor for the inconvenience, but when went into the rooms ,the floor was all wet we sat on the bed 15minutes waiting for the floor to dry😱, ok we said let's go eat our räkmarkor at their restaurant, waited for over 45 minutes, and when we finally got them ,they forgot to give us the knives and folks, we reminded them that we ar missing the folks/knives ,we sat there with our räkmarkor for over 15 minutes, still nothing to drink ,no body asked what we wanted to drink,they just dumped the food to us and left.of which we both got irritated and that's when one girl saw us stuck with food and we are not eating, and she helped, what a disaster 😱 this doesn't match the swedish standard of service.
