Brilliant staff
Posted 6 Jul 2023 on HotelsThe hotel exceed our expectations. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff deserve special praise. They were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel. We were very sad to leave.

Very beautiful old property in wonderful condition.
Our room and bathroom was just lovely.
We were somewhat disappointed with the restaurant however.
The hotel itself cannot be faulted, the staff were very pleasant indeed

Loads of character
Posted 23 Oct 2021 on HotelsThe hotel is lovely, lots of history and beautiful outdoor spaces. The staff are very pleasant. We did have a couple of hiccups. Our room was absolutely boiling and we had to leave sliding doors open all night which caused some noise. It did cool on subsequent nights. Also i had to request a, reclean of the room which was very poorly done. Dirty bath, bed hardly made, no toiletries etc. It was fine on 2nd cleaning.
