"From when I first arrived to the hotel until I departed everyone was so helpful and nice. Easy location to all sights and loved my view of the Blue Mosque."
"First of all, realize you are looking at a 2-3 star hotel. With those expectations set right, I think you will find a very nice place to stay. It’s nicely located on the edge of the shopping area but, set back far enough to still have some quietness. The room is of good size and the shower works well. I always had a good wifi. (different sign in on the top floors).
I found the guys working here to be very pleasant and accommodating. It’s a very relaxed and inviting environment. I talked to them about getting a room on the top floor and ended up with 501. It’s a good one. Realize tho, it’s all stairs in a narrow staircase, no lift.
I was a solo traveling and enjoyed the café at the corner. There also friendly people there. There are a couple of small markets just next door and several good restaurants across the bridge. I liked the fact that the hotel was very near two metro lines."
"Location is amazing. Just by tram lines, on a the flat side of old town which is really practical. Surrounded by shops and historical sites, all accessible by walk. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
The building itself has almost zero soundproofing. Considering lots of families staying there, this is key to sleeping quality. The hotel building seems to be old and not well maintained. The slightly shocking part was when we were at our room and out of the sudden saw a guy in our balcony which is on the third floor. He was a gardener taking care of plants but no notice before his arrival or nocking on the door!! He just had a way to get to balcony from outside which is clearly disrupting privacy.
Bottom line, if you really prioritise location in old town, you should consider it. But remember you need to sacrifice on your sleep and room comfort."
"This hotel was in a great location close to all the major sites. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The bellman helped us immediately with our luggage and they let us check in early as soon as our room was available. The staff helped us with any information we needed and helped set up us with a Turkish massage which included transportation. They were also willing to help schedule any transportation needed to/from airport as well as any site seeing you were interested in. Breakfast was really nice. Wasn't sure what all the food was but a nice variety and breakfast sitting area. Only stayed one night but would highly recommend. Good value and very nice room and bed."
"The hotel was lovely, clean and staff were very helpful. There was a delay checking in as our room wasn't ready but we were offered a free breakfast.
We didn't eat there as we felt the food was very overpriced, there are many, many other more reasonably priced options."
