New building with amazing view of infinity pool and local orchards. The breakfast was full of delicious options! Loved this hotel!

Very good place to stay. Clean and calm. Good for eating and a great swimming pool. The breakfast could be a little better.

Disappointed
Posted 12 Mar 2019 on HotelsStaff were brilliant extremely helpful. Unfortunately the hotel needs a an overhaul, the bathroom was dirty, they need a good housekeeper to sort out the problems. We will not be staying again , very disappointed as we use different Hotels travelling from Spain to Portugal every year.

Pleasant stay at Hotel O Gato. Loved the infinity pool! Not much in the area, and the restaurant at the hotel wasn't great, but it was really nice stay in the middle of nowhere and the pool was a huge plus.

Posted 9 Oct 2015 on HotelsThe new part of hotel O Gato was everything you could wish for, they still have a few teething problems the breakfast was fairly basic as they Don't seem to have the kitchens up and running yet and you need to go down to the old hotel for meals which are good but not great, the landscaping I would presume is not finished as yet but the apartments are fully stocked with everything you need if you are cooking for yourself beautiful rooms well designed, comfortable lounges with large t.v.s on every floor, give it a bit longer and no doubt it will be a 4star hotel anyone would love staying at

Pros: friendliness
Location: Quiet location, nice for an overnight stop only
Friendly staff, tried hard with the language barrier, nice facilities and good service, quiet setting with a lovely swimming pool
