A small well-managed hotel recently renovated to a very high standard. Friendly and helpful staff and very appetising and comprehensive breakfast offering.

Everyone at the hotel is super friendly. I felt warmly welcome. The location is simply superb! The breakfast was good. All the staff is very helpful

Wonderful stay! Family owned. Friendly greetings & staff. Wonderful breakfast! Great air conditioned rooms. Modern rooms and bathrooms. Highly recommend! Wonderful location too!

I attempted to book this hotel last minute at 11:55PM with my wife and two elderly parents because of unforeseen circumstances. Although I had booked for the date 9/6/23-9/7/23 and checked twice before I booked, the confirmation for booking I received was for the next day. I immediately notified Expedia (literally one minute after booking), and attempted to cancel right away. The agent who helped me contacted the hotel and hotel responded with “do not cancel the hotel and call management in the morning”. We scrambled through the city at midnight to find another hotel for the night as the this hotel was fully booked. We did as they said and called the manager the next morning. To our surprise, we were met with a condescending response that included “why didn’t you cancel immediately, you made us lose a customer, and you are playing a game.” I calmly explain what had happened. Manager hurriedly hung up the call and told us to email as they were very busy doing “check in”at 10:42AM. This is unacceptable, and If anyone runs into a scheduling conflict or issue with a booking I would hope you wouldn’t be accused of “playing a game” to sabotage a hotel. Please be aware of the unprofessionalism by the manager of this hotel. I would highly reconsider booking with this hotel as this kind of issue can happen any moment, and you will be met with such hostile attitude.

Good morning, I simply ask one thing: was the date change problem created by the hotel or by the online intermediation agency? the problem was created by the intermediation agency, therefore both the negative review and the refund request are to be attributed to the agency and not to the hotel. Because we haven't made any mistakes on our part. And I find it very incorrect that we are blamed for a fault that we do not have.Zeno, hotel manager

Incredible location, easy walk to everything, friendly staff, and the view of the castle from the "superior double room with city view" was worth the extra cost. Decent breakfast, though the bread rolls were rubbery both days. Room was great but we had a couple of issues with the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low and the shower door was not closing properly so we ended up with soaked floors and shower mats after every shower. But overall, great hotel.
