Grounds and facility was dirty, unkept, poorly maintained…need to clean outer hallways and stairs…elevator was dirty and poorly kept

I'll be honest, if given the opportunity to pull off the road 30 minutes sooner I'd advise staying in Reno or passing by Fernley to hit the next exit for available options. The towels in the bathroom were two different colors - off white and light brown. They were also so thin that using the toilet paper would have been a comparable option. The front desk did provide 2 additional "clean" towels, one was white-ish and the other was brownish. The bedding had numerous stains on the sheets and some hairs - not encouraging for a restful sleep. The tub/shower had a 1970's light yellow hue to it - which was not intentional in in their design I'm sure. The shower curtain was a shade of muted urine. The breakfast consisted of 2 cereals, apple/orange juice, Nutri Grain bars, cofffee, apples and toast. Unfortunately the peanut butter or jelly options were in a stanard bottle or container that you'd use in your home - not a public setting. Overall, this has to be one of the poorest hotels I've ever stayed at.

Once we settled in we found the toilet seat was loose Tried to turn the tv on and the remote did not work. All 4 pillows were big time lumpy! When I tried to take a shower in the morning the shower would only give me hot or cold...not a blend ...so no shower for me or hubby Went yo get some ice and no ice...it was broken. We paid $140 for the night!! I think we should get part of my money back!!

My car has broken down and the owner gave me a ride to go pick it up once it was repaired. The staff were amazing and nice. Highly recommend this establishment and the price was great.

Five days earlier I had stayed at the Super 8 in Winnemucca, and I thought I would have similar experiences. Winnemucca had cleaner exterior, cleaner, parking lot, better paved parking lot, my front door closed all the way, the breakfast had many kinds of yogurt, bagels, peanut butter, cream cheese. The milk was refrigerated. There was an ice machine. The staff was delightful at Fernley. My wheeled vehicle fit through the door. No ice machine.

The staff were wonderful. The parking lot had a lot of holes unfortunately and the room got stuffy very quickly even with the window open. The fridge reeked of some kind of odor that was super nauseating when you opened it so I had no choice but to leave my food out on the table.
