We are saddened that somehow we've dissapointed this guest. If we knew how or where the problem existed we could take steps to correct it. Perhaps the guest can give us a call and let us know how we can do better for him.

The owners/managers are very nice. But:
- Everything in the village closes around 7-8pm. Totally quite and dark after that.
-The restroom was poorly cleaned (un-flushed toilet). Staffs may forgot to check it
- It would be better if they at least give customers a dish of breakfast (instead of handing out a plastic box), and open the dining room for breakfast (instead of asking customers to sit in a dark bar with so sun)

We had a fantastic stay at the Victorian Inn and Ferndale was an unexpected treasure on our trip to see the amazing redwoods on the Avenue of the Giants. Jenny is the most incredibly welcoming host - we can’t wait to get home and try the carrot cake recipe!!!

We loved our stay at the Victorian Inn. Ferndale was lovely and everyone was nice & helpful. The Abigail room was very comfortable! We wish we would have planned a couple more days there. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Could not get early check in from first attendant for a dubious reason. Second attendant checked us in quickly

Our regular check -in time is 3:00. When guests request an early check-in we try to accomodate them if the room they have reserved is cleaned and ready for them. In this case, upon their first request to check in early their room had not yet been cleaned and inspected by our staff. Upon their second request the room was ready and we were happy to check them in early. We try to advise all our guests that if they arrive in our village earlier in the day than 3:00 to give us a call, and if their room is ready we will check them in.
