Easy check in. Comfortable beds and clean room. Bar staff very attentive, restaurant staff not so much on this occasion.

Is a good location but as a 4-star hotel needs too many things to catch a 4 star

We love this hotel very clean and friendly team. The breakfast is amazing !! Unfortunately this time There was a wedding party the weekend with some loud guests who felt the need to be singing in room early hours ( after 2pm ) so sleep disturbances in the night

Nice hotel, excellent but pricey food and half the Electtic Chargers don’t work so couldn’t charge car even though 4 spaces free!

Beware that if you book via expedia you do not have access to the nice pool and gym

Stayed in Room 155 - was very clean and I have stayed multiple times at the Solent Hotel & Spa before... It's a nice place to stay with multiple options in the evenings to cater for food and so on.
Breakfast is good quality food, even if a bit clunky and there is a decent vibe about the place.
Room 155 is however, in between the 2 nearest WIFI antennae and the reception ranges from full just behind the room door to poor at the desk. Poor is okay for simple internet page surfing (eBay) but if you want to stream from the iPlayer then it doesn't work well
