The fact that nobody watches this property is very frustrating. Some guy was outside of the room at 6am smoking and all the smoke came in through the AC unit. I had to wake up, come out and tell the guy to quit smoking. There are signs for no smoking but no one there to enforce anything. Basically no staff on site.

The checkin was inconvenient. We had to wait 20 minutes outside the door waiting for someone to talk with us on the phone. Unacceptable. The rooms are looking a bit rundown now, there is no mini frig and when we went to get ice there was very little available.

I was expecting a standard motel but was pleasantly surprised by this property. We spent just one night there - got there very late and checked in on the phone. The service on the phone was quick and efficient. The room was very comfortable and what I was most impressed by was that they had a Nespresso machine and actual cups and glasses (not disposable) - something you don't find at even the fanciest of hotels. Very pleased! Would highly recommend it for a stay in the area.

Check in didn’t work as promised — I didn’t receive either a check-in email or email with room and access information and had to call the property to have both sent.

The hotel was a good price for the money and very local to the hartford center for concerts, however the check in process being all via email is very inconvenient! There's no way for an early check in and you actually can't check in by 3 o'clock as stated do to back and forth emails that have to start at 3 o'clock check in time. The bar is a nice, staff is super friendly, a bit pricy but not terrible. Hotel is clean and everything functioning properly!

There was a roach in the bedroom. Contacted the staff, they said they would have someone call me. No one did. I've since emailed, with no response.

It badly needs a remodel the carpet was scary the heater made my allergies crazy so I slept in my clothes the restaurant on property Barcelona is wonderful great food

The low-staff and online check-in/out takes some getting used to, but the main negative here is the noise. The air management fan is so loud that it either kept me awake all night or woke me up if I set it to come on at the temp threshhold. Another annoyance was the malfunctioning volume on the TV. That said, the one staf I saw was welcomi g and helpful, the room was clean and safe, and the location is outstanding. Overall grade. B
