We really slept in a castle

Charming and cosy castle with a lot of rooms to explore. There was an endless collection of antiques. Overall very clean.

Furnishing in general rooms were fabulous. Electrical outlets in our room did not work. Person in charge brought new lightbulbs and extension cords. Wiring definite Y needs updating. Our shower had black mold. The biggest issue was guests not allowed to use eleva5or and NO help around to help older Expletive lug bags up 2 flights of stairs. Breakfast was adequate. Not recommended for any one over 50.

Extremely friendly staff with excellent information about the property. I was able to check this off my bucket list to stay in a beautiful castle!
