Great pub. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic, friendly staff. The food was amazing and some unusual things on the menu. Great breakfast too. Our room was really lovely too. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

A good choice

Lovely stay
Posted 28 Jan 2024 on HotelsStayed for 2 nights in the apartment. Very comfortable, quiet, clean. Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Public footpath close to the hotel - really nice walk. Our dog was very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely cosy find
Posted 22 Dec 2023 on HotelsAfter a very busy day ant work, we drove from the midlands and arrived at the Red Lion just before check in closed at 10pm, but unfortunately the chefs had gone home so we’re unable to have a meal. Very kindly the bar staff offered to make us cheese and biscuits. The bar was cosy and warm, and when we got to the bedroom, it was clean and modern decor but still kept traditional and in keeping with the history of the building.
