Great location. Easy access to Northwestern University campus and retail district. Cool hotel.

Beautiful clean environment, mediocre service.
Our room was not ready when we arrived at 4:15pm (check-in is at 4pm). After sitting in front of the receptionist for 20 min, I asked if she could expedite the service since we had to be elsewhere at 5 pm, she checked and said, oh, it’s actually already ready.
The bartender was very imposing. When we ordered a bottle of wine (she gave us one for $90), she asked: How many glasses? I obviously misunderstood her and said we wanted a bottle, so she repeated in a raised voice, How many glasses?? The vibe was quite unprofessional.
So, overall, disappointed and will not stay there again

Truly charming hotel in the heart of Evanston. Walking distance to pretty much everything - shopping and restaurants a block or two away. However, I would stick around for their bar - their cocktails and unique and amazing. Loved the vibe of the hotel. Staff was generally friendly. And loved the front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon tea. Definitely will be back!
