It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!

Had a great time away with husband and friends the cottage was clean and tidy and very close to Marble Arch caves which we thoroughly enjoyed will worth the trip.

Manor House cottages

Pros: Lovely walk, marina and golf course.
Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
We stayed at the Manor House cottage for two nights; they were warm, comfortable and very quiet with a beautiful view over the marina. As well as accessing the golf course, we were able to avail of the hotel for any extra meals we required. The cottage was, therefore, an excellent combination of self-catering and use of local amenities! I thoroughly recommend the cottages-other family members were able to join us on the second evening at no extra cost. A superb choice when you are unsure who can make the stay due to busy schedules.

Posted 3 Apr 2017 on HotelsThe cottage was very clean and comfortable. Our son and his wife and baby joined us on the second day and like us they loved the views and the tranquility. It was an ideal location for visiting the Lakelands. Would love to return ,hopefully for a longer stay, and take advantage of the leisure facilities at the hotel. A lovely weekend.
