We were in town for a weekend competition & had several members of a team staying at the same place to keep the girls together. Upon arrival we were told 2 of the families did NOT have a room because the people staying there previously had decided to stay longer. We were told we could be put up in a cheaper hotel but not be reimbursed the amount that we’d already been charged MONTHS ago. After 2 hours of craziness one room was finally opened for us (they bumped someone else) and one family had to find another place to stay.
This will be the last time we stay at any Candlewood suite.

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at Candlewood Suites during your weekend competition. It's incredibly frustrating when a hotel fails to honor reservations made months in advance, especially when you're traveling as a group for a specific event. The inconvenience and stress caused by not having guaranteed accommodations can really put a damper on the entire trip. It's understandable that you're reluctant to stay at Candlewood Suites again after such an ordeal. Hopefully, your future travels will be smoother and more enjoyable elsewhere.

The staff was amazing and helpful! Even with our key issues, it was enjoyable to interact with them all so it wasn’t a bother!

This property is super clean and the mini kitchen in each room is so nice! I do wish they offered housekeeping more than once a week and that you didn’t have to go down to the front desk to get new towels every time.
