Excellent room, fantastic host who was very accommodating and delightful personality, just wasn't clear on the website how the location was deep in a village which was difficult to access, poorly marked, and therefore feeling unsafe. After we were settled, we felt fine, just getting to and from the property was uncomfortable.

The place looks a little rustic but don't be out off as everything is extremely clean and comfortable and the welcome very warm. Also a very nice breakfast!

Misleading

Posted 26 Jul 2018
Pros: none
Cons: most things!
Location: Terrible, looked like a third world environment...
We actually left before unpacking. Bad area, misleading photographs and looked more like a dilapidated hippie camp. Not nice...

Lovely night in quaint little Bedouin camp

Posted 18 Apr 2018
I stayed a night in the studio room on my way from the Galilee to Haifa. The place was really nicely set up with a cool little outdoor area to relax after a comfortable nights sleep. I am in a wheelchair and the place was accessible once you get inside. I needed help getting to the room as it was kind of rough terrain and there is a solid step up into the room. Fortunately I had friends with me so it wasn’t much of a hassle. The owner was extremely accommodating and made everything really easy. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.

Friendly, rural experience

Posted 25 Feb 2018
Nice to get out of the cities and see the countryside, on the day we were there we saw a baby goat being born, but had a very noisy group of families stay as well. Overall very good but we were glad we had earplugs. Friendly host.

Pros: The location is great, and there's a nice relaxed vibe. The owners made us an amazing breakfast every day, and were very hospitable.
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect!
Location: It's nice to walk around the village, and the farms. There are other villages and kibbutzim nearby, as well as ancient sites like megiddo and tsipori.
We had 3 nights here in the train car - the room was really cute and very comfortable. The camplodge is on a lovely little farm in a quiet village in the mountains. The owners are super sweet an helpful. We were sad to leave, and will definitely go back!

Amazing Experience - would visit again

Posted 7 Jun 2015
Pros: The experience and the vibe.
Cons: No. It is what it is...
Location: Stay on site. Enjoy the peace and quiet and scenery.
About 30 minutes from Haifa, I drove through the winding roads through several villages to arrive at the lodge. I was greeted by the owners and shown to my room. By chance, there was another family that had a party of 15 or so, and they invited me to join them for dinner, where they were grilling. It was a totally different, totally random experience and I would highly encourage you to try this pace. My only regret was that I only stayed one night. Oh... the breakfast was amazing. Brought to me on a platter - eggs and goat cheese, made from the goats next to my room.

I had a great time staying in the Train Wagon cabin. The hosts were very kind and helped with all my needs. I warmly recommend a stay at this cosy place if you need to recharge your batteries.
