This hotel was amazing!! Very high end for the price! Vanessa was so helpful and friendly! Such a wonderful experience for 2 Americans visiting a foreign country. We were concerned about getting around and the language barrier but no issues at all. Surprisingly our reservation came with an hour in the spa and we used it soaking in the hot bath (jacuzzi without jets). The views were spectacular as well as breakfast. We didn’t want to leave!! This hotel is on our list to come back to if/when we return to France. Heartfelt thanks to Vanessa!!

Gorgeous views abound. Rooms were clean and comfortable, despite the heat. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in Provence, making ample use of local alpine ingredients. It is also walking distance to old town Embrun, which was a nice touch.

Matthieu at front desk was helpful. Fan but no air conditioning in room, a little warm on a hot day . Excellent food, outside seating has a gorgeous view of mountains above and valley below.

Everything was very nice and in excellent condition except the wifi connection was either super slow or not available at times (maybe our “under the roof” room was too far from router ?)

Fabulous customer service. So sweet to my little girl (age 7) at check-in where they have her lots of little goodies. Great room, wonderful restaurant, brilliant staff and a great location.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly as were the beautiful dogs who greeted us. The room was spotlessly clean with an amazing view of the beach and sea. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you get a chance! Its the dream!

Lovely hotel by a charming little town!

It was pretty much as described, and for a 3-star hotel, it's not bad for the price. The biggest problem we had is the cigarette smokes that we constantly smell at night. Even though the room is non-smoking, it's either someone next to us was, or that we shared an air-intake with a smoking room. We literally had to close all doors (door to the bathroom, the locked door to the adjoining room, and the main door) and stuff towels at the bottom of the doors. If you mind the smell of cigarette smokes, maybe double check with the staff for a room that is REALLY free of cigarette smell! There is no fridge in the room, luckily it's winter for us so we just left our wine and cheese outside! The restaurant is pretty famous and if you didn't make a reservation you won't be able to get a table. And they don't do room service, and in the winter it's not that walkable to downtown, so make sure you make dinner plans ahead!

The Spa, our restaurant, or simply the beautiful view of the Alps from our rooms are all elements that our guests enjoy. We are surprised by your remark about the smell of your room. I can assure you that smoking inside the building is totally forbidden and that we do not tolerate such behaviour. On site, you should not have hesitated to notify us such an incident, our teams could have done the necessary and changed your room if it had been possible.
