"We had a late arrival 1am after our flight in to Liverpool. Two guys on reception with the warmest welcome you could wish for. The room was small but ok. It had a sofa bed in it that the hotel had made ready even though I rang to say we only need the double bed not the sofa too. This took up so much of the space it was cramped even for just two people how you would expect more people to be comfortable is beyond the imagination. Breakfast staff were pleasant though the breakfast wasn’t up to much. Hard rubber eggs well done bacon cold mushrooms. The lady on reception when we checked out was very pleasant. "

"The breakfast was as good as you can expect for a 3 star hotel. We had no complaints there. Did not use other facilities. "

"The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast was not great and the hotel in general needs a little TLC. There is ample parking and the hotel is opposite the New Mersey Shopping Park. It's only a couple of stops on the bus from John Lennon airport. Overall I would recommend the hotel and would stay again."

"Someone rang the bell on our room then walked in 5 seconds later without any approval to ask if we wanted some milk. No hotel worker should be able to let themselves in to your room unannounced. Also had people banging on our door and screaming in the hall at 1-2am. Had some really nice stays here previously but this stay was really uncomfortable. "

"A very pleasent stay. Clean & friendly stay. Good food, nice bar & very helpfull staff. Kim & Tom in the resaurant were great, Diane on reception was wonderful and helped my wife with out after the Ultra marathon left her needing an ice pack Manager? Steve was just so welcoming & helpful throughout our stay, advising on spots to watch the Marathon & nearby pubs & shops. Will stay again."

"I have stayed at this hotel many times with no issues, after the checking into our room we noticed the toilet would not flush, we reported it to reception and nothing was done for our two night stay we were constantly updating reception. We have to go down two floors to go to the toilet. Totally unacceptable."

"Room was very dated, there had obviously been a leak from the ceiling above and they hadn’t bothered to change the wall light lamp shade as it had big water marks. Pedal bin was broken and not sure if the extractor fan was running to full capacity in the bathroom. Didnt get the chance to eat in the restaurant or use the leisure centre. Plenty of parking which was good. Hotel was nice and quiet. Staff were functional but not particularly welcoming, no welcome on arrival and no how was your stay when we checked out. Room was tired and needs a makeover to bring up to modern standards"
