This accommodation was clean and the staff were all very friendly. It was within 10 minutes walking distance from the Metro which was great for exploring Liverpool and Chester.

Reception staff friendly on arrival. Explained everything we needed to know straight away. Room very clean, warm on arrival. Came back late evening and required food. We ordered at the bar and they personally called me to say food was ready and would deliver to me. I collected and they helped without asking. All staff very helpful and friendly.

Great family run hotel.

We return every year because the owners are so friendly and welcoming. The food is great and it’s a lovely atmosphere. Good value for money as well.

Stayed one night on business. Check in was efficient, the room was clean and there was a desk so I could get some work done. Downsides are that if you are downstairs and the person above paces the floor in the night, the creaky floors keep you awake. Also the duvet was way too thick and hot. If on a motorbike, there is nowhere to chain it up, but they do have cameras in the car park. The bed was comfortable which is the main thing for me and it is close to the motorway so access is easy.

Booked the woodcote for a little get away with the Mrs. Staff were very accommodating (they closed the bar early due to no one being in but still got us a drink when we asked) Room was spacious and the shower was amazing Thank you, will definitely stay again if we're in the area

Comfortable and relaxing stay

The hotel is very convenient both to arrive by car (close to the M53) or by train. I arrived from London by train and it's only a 10 minute walk from Hooton station. I received a warm welcome and was shown to my room, which was in an annexe to the main building, overlooking the garden. The service was friendly, professional and efficient, the room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom.

Overall the room was perfect.

The room was bright and airy. We put the radiator on to warm the room up which warmed it up really quickly. The shower was really fast and bathroom was lovely and clean. The bed was so comfortable, overall the room was perfect.
