The entire building smelled burnt. The door on the room would not close. It also would not lock. The shower faucet almost fell apart. The shower flooded the bathroom floor. The very uppity her/he/it wanted a 500 word explanation on why i could possibly want 4 towels. And how many people did i let into my room. I asked her what is it to her and that im the customer. She huffed and puffed and made it a huge deal. So i told her to back off i dont want her towels. My wife went and got the towels after embarrassingly expressing a medical condition in public on why the towels are needed. This is in poor form and that person should be fired for harassment of the guests. The room was constantly sweating and humid even with the air on. And the room had very poor lighting. Entrance doors on both sides seemingly were not controlled by card entry at night, when front desk was widely unsupervised, adding to the unsafe atmosphere of the door being in disrepair.

Perfectly reasonable budget hotel. It was not, however, particularly disability friendly. For instance, the main entrance does not have an automatic door opener. The building also does not have an elevator. That said, the excellent staff worked hard to make up for the building’s shortcomings.

We had our dog stayed with us. The staff was helpful. The room had a weird smell which was not a big deal considering the room may be occupied by travellers with pets. Overall, it seemed clean.

The hotel has been renovated so it was really comfortable. Although not advertised it sure was great to get a cup of coffee with some fruit and toast to start the day.
