The views from the restaurant and balcony are beautiful, and the garden areas are lovely. I enjoyed having a place outside to relax out of the rain.

This is a very nice place staffed by some of the best people I have encountered anywhere. I had room #1 with a kitchen which I wasn't expecting and barely used except for the fridge. This room was a bit more of a showplace than a functional room because while there were 2 small tables; one that I used as a desk had display items on it like 2 big plates and another thing that I had to put in the closet so I could use it pulled over to the bed to sit on - no chair. (I was told later that they could have brought me a chair.) The pool looked nice, although I didn't use it. The breakfast was very nice indeed and was ordered from a menu giving lots of choices. I had a rental car so most nights I went to town for dinner but the one night I did eat there, I was unimpressed with the food, service was fine. I think the girls were happy that I tried to use my limited Spanish with them & they all spoke very good English with those that didn't try.

We only spent one night in The Golden Frog but we really enjoyed our limited time there. The hotel staff was friendly, the food at the restaurant was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. Bonus points for our balcony with beautiful views of the lush surroundings and the cute dogs and cats on the grounds.

Second Stay at Golden Frog
Posted 25 Feb 2024 on HotelsThis was my second stay at Golden Frog- and I will stay at Golden Frog again when I next visit Valle de Anton. The rooms are spacious and very reasonable priced. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. The location is quiet, but accessible to all points of interest in El Valle. I have only positives to say about The Golden Frog Inn.

The staff at the Golden Frog Inn were fabulous! Not only is the hotel in a phenomenally beautiful place with gorgeous landscaping, the onsite restaurant served top-notch meals and accommodated our dietary restrictions. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and when we arrived they had decorated our room with balloons, confetti, and fresh bougainvillea petals. I highly recommend the Golden Frog Inn!

The room was as described. Bed was comfy, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Dining at the hotwl was fairly priced and good quality food with good service.

This was one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Everything was perfect from the room to the food but the best part was the staff. They were so accommodating and friendly and made our stay even more special! The food and drinks were also great and the views from the room were incredible. Highly recommend staying here!!!
