I truly am satisfied with my stay at Ahana resort. The resort is tranquil and beyond my expectations. The view is spectacular. The service was excellent. From the desk to the room service, they were all friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you so much to Jon Jon, who drove us to places and even helped us get cheaper pasalubong, Edmond took care of our food and drinks and took time for conversation, Neal took care of our tours and infos. The whole staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. I’ve been to many resorts and this is the best experience I’ve ever had. I also got acquainted with the owner and her sisters, who were very nice to us. The food was good. and the room was clean and nice. I really felt like I was home away from home. I highly recommend this resort for people who want to get away from the crowds and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation. 👍👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property itself is beautiful with a beautiful scenic view. The biggest downfall is that it sits off an unpaved dirt road with a very steep hill. We had to walk up this hill every night in the pitch dark. The property is about 25 minutes from El Nido.

Since the first day we got there, they say that they provide an airport shuttle, which upon arrival there was none and no way of reaching them through the contact information they provided on Expedia. We had to wait and find a taxi car because I couldn’t go on the Tuk Tuk trycicle since I am pregnant and we had lots of luggage with us. We paid the expensive taxi to get us to Ahana. Once we find the resort, it is steep up the hill which was super scary to go up in a little car. The hill was so steep and the road was not done. Definitely needed a 4x4 car which we did not have, so it felt as if we were about to fall off the cliff. We had to get out of the car in the middle of the road because it was so scary. Then once checking in with the resort, we sure asked for a refund because we did not want to stay there since the road was so scary to even go anywhere to explore, so we felt like we had to be stuck in that hotel. And they wouldn’t give our refund so we had to stay. Our only source for food the first day we got there was at the hotel. We only ate at the hotel the whole day, lunch and dinner and then breakfast the next morning, which they tried to charge us for breakfast when it was supposed to be complimentary. As soon as I had the breakfast, I felt sick & got food poising and that was the day we left on our tour. I couldn’t get out of the restroom took some medicine for that then couldn’t stop throwing up. Mind u I am pregnant and I haven’t thrown up the whole 4 months...

Great place, perfect for couples. A bit far from center of town. The road to get to the up to the resort need to be fix. Overall great experience.

Access to the property requires a 4-wheel-drive vehicle, as other types of vehicles are not suitable for reaching the location. It is important to note that the hotel imposes charges for each trip along the road to and from the hill where the hotel is situated. Unfortunately, this information was not disclosed to us at the time of booking. Additionally, we found the pricing for tours offered by the hotel to be significantly higher compared to alternatives available in the city. The discrepancy in costs was notable, with tours labeled as A, B, C, or D being priced at half or less than what the hotel was charging. Despite the hotel justifying the higher costs, it is recommended to avoid reserving any tours through the hotel to ensure a more cost-effective and transparent experience.

It was all great. The drive up to the hotel is mighty rough, but it’s worth it. It’s a beautiful place with warm and caring staff.

Anfangs waren wir ehrlich gesagt enttäuscht und unzufrieden. Wir sind extra vorab vorbei gekommen um das WLAN anzuschauen, da wir in der Zeit arbeiten mussten und funktionierendes WLAN brauchten. Mit max 1mbit am Pool war es nicht möglich über Zoom zu arbeiten. (Starlink verpackt am Boden gefunden aber angeblich nicht möglich) Also änderten wir unseren Plan, brauchten trotzdem wenigstens diesen 1mbit um Mails zu verschicken. Leider funktionierte nicht mal das Verschicken von Mails als wir ankamen. Hinzu kam das unsere Toilette nicht spülte und das Frühstücks essen (welches inklusive war) ein ganz kleiner Teller war weshalb wir danach noch hungriger waren als davor. Nach dem Gespräch mit der Managerin, die sehr sehr freundlich lösungsorientiert und zuvorkommend war, wurden alle 3 Punkte deutlichst verbessert und wir haben ein anderes Zimmer mit funktionierender Toilette & Starlink bekommen. Der Aufenthalt dann war danach wirklich sehr schön! Auch die Kellner und Putzfrau waren sehr sehr freundlich und haben einen super Service gemacht. Wir konnten danach wirklich endlich zu Ruhe kommen und haben diese Abgeschiedenheit in der Natur und dem tollen Ambiente vom Hotel sehr genossen. Wenn einem die paar Punkte vorab klar sind (kein - 1mbits wlan, abgeschieden = wirklich echte Ruhe, Roller Verleih in der Umgebung nicht möglich, van Transfer und damit Zusatzkosten für alles) und ihr das möchtet, kann ich das Hotel nur sehr empfehlen!! Daher rundum für uns 4 Sterne. Vielen Dank!!
