This is our second time staying at Mirror Barcelona. Our first time was about 7 years ago, so it was nice to see the upgrades they’ve made since then. The service was amazing here. Upon arriving by taxi, someone came out to help us with our bags, check us in, and take us upstairs to show us our room and how things worked. The hotel is very secure because you have to use your room key to enter the area your room is in first. Inside, they’ve made lots of upgrades to the room. They’ve replaced the deteriorating white padded walls with something much better, cleaner, and more sustainable in the long term. The room was spacious with a comfortable seating area near the window. The view of the city was great too. The bed was super comfortable as well. The toilet and shower are in separate rooms, so it’s best if you’re sharing with a partner. The shower had amazing water pressure and they also provide robes and slippers, which is a nice touch. The surrounding area is safe with some great restaurant options. There’s also a bar and restaurant at the hotel too. I’d definitely stay here again!

Rooms situated along streetside were prone to noise as patrons hung around outside the hotel into the hours of 4-5am..so if you are sensitive to any sounds, then request away from the street. Front desk told me the panes were doublepaned and that road noise was not an issue but people and partying noise was not exempt from this.

Good location- about a mile away from La Rambla- No privacy inside the room- Sink is in the bedroom- toilet has its own cubicle and the bath has a sliding door which opens into the bedroom. So if one is travelling with children, friends or parents, it is very difficult getting out of the bath without being seen. I had to ask my friend to leave the room while I got out of the bath to get dressed. Also as the sink is in the bedroom, after using the toilet one has to walk across the room with dirty hands trying not to touch surfaces. There was mould around the bath tub which I reported to reception. Poorly designed. On the plus side the staff were very professional and helpful. Great entrance to the hotel, mirrors everywhere. Loved the glass lift. On the whole a clean and attractive hotel.

Unusual hotel in that everything in the room is either white or mirrored. Great location.
