This is such a warm and cozy family feel hotel. It has a fantastic coffee/tea/cocoa bar that is always available, the area is peaceful and beautiful. I had a walk out room -so I could just step out and see the amazing northern lights.

The staff and owner were fantastic. I got "stuck" another day-night due to a storm and closed roads. Fantastic people here! they helped me plan my route... looked up weather issues

Despite initial skepticism, renting at this location exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed my stay, it is a bit isolated but this makes it great for anyone traveling to Iceland, especially during the Aurora months.
I highly recommend this hotel for the price, the rooms will surprise you at this price.

This was our favorite hotel out of the 10 hotels we stayed in. The cabin was adorable. This was the inly hotel we slept in and hung out in the living room drinking tea. The reception was kind enough to show us yo the cabin and let us know when and where we could see the Northern Lights and we most assuredly did.
