Good location - unfriendly

The hotel has a wonderful location directly next to the nature reserve Lueneburger Heide. Just just have to walk a few steps to see endless fields of heather. Rooms were spacious and clean. It also has an elevator. The reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is due to lack of customer service. We arrived in the evening and asked where we could dine and the receptionist recommended the onsite restaurant. However, the restaurant could not seat us due to incoming reservations (tables had reservation signs on them) but also did not make any effort to find an alternative solution, such as seating us at the bar. We felt brushed off and not welcomed. When we mentioned it to the reception, she did not care either. The receptionist at check-out in the morning was more friendly. Seemed to be a hotel for people who come to the region for horseback riding.

Comfortable bed and room, very accommodating staff in lovely surroundings. Food (including breakfast) above and beyond expectations.

it is nice hotel ,especially being in green area and basically very good for hunters and sigthseeing people
