Very spacious hotel in a convenient location with interesting design.
The room we had was very large with a large bathroom. The room itself was not in perfect shape, but perfectly usable -- some switches didn't seem to control anything, the toilet seat was semi-detached, various things were not squarely mounted, but overall, the large bath, rain shower and other amenities made up for it. Internet was a little spotty at times, but mostly worked fine. It was nice to have a kettle with coffee and tea and some cookies every day.
The location was great, next to a bunch of restaurants and dorms of University of Edinburgh where we were dropping off our son.
The service by the front-desk staff was very friendly and useful. We enjoyed our stay at the Rooms & Suites Picardy Place.

Lovely hotel 😻
Posted 9 Sep 2019 on HotelsThis was a lovely place to stay. Very spacious for the city and compared to other places. Shower was lovely. Only complaint was that WiFi didn’t work in my room, but it worked in the hallway so I made due. Overall was an amazing stay.

Amazing bathroom and shower in the middle of the room. Room was very large and had amazing views.
