Good hotel and staff, would have been 5/5 but really expensive ( on the dates we stayed) for standard double, room only.

This property is a gem.
The central location near the Royal Mile is ideal for exploring the city. The hotel is spotless. The staff is friendly and eager to accomodate. The restaurant and lounge are inviting with excellent food. When visiting Edinburgh, I would choose to stay here again.

Marcela was wonderful and very helpful. Appreciated the upgraded room as we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Great location, easy walking to all of our destinations. We don’t eat full breakfast, would have been nice if there was a lower rate for light breakfast instead of paying same as those who ate full hot and cold offerings
