An older multi storey property in an inner Edinburgh area, it was well serviced by buses to the royal mile (within a minutes walk.)
We unfortunately planned our Edinburgh trip the same time as a million other people (we had no idea T Swift would be here) so options were limited.
A windowless room was an unusual experience and frankly not one I would do again..The room was clean, although tiny. Our main issues were that the room stank of curry when we arrived and with no window, there was no way to air it. The second was the hall light was kept on all night and with an internal window into the room from the hall we were kept awake all night on our first night until we could buy eye masks.
For a night or two this would be ok.

Just a generally great stay - was the last of 5 places we stayed in Scotland and easily the cleanest/most comfortable/best appointed. Would absolutely stay again when revisiting Edinburgh

The property was well kept for the most part. Very convenient to bus lines to Old Town. Area seemed safe to walk around -residential. Water pressure in shower was very light. Not enough to wash long hair. But beds were comfortable and we had a great nights sleep.
