"Cody and the crew are rockstars. Everyone on staff was more than happy to help with any questions or needs that came up for my wife and I. The grounds are very nice as well. The room itself was just fine for us. We found it plenty clean and comfortable. We’re pretty low maintenance so if you’d need more than a warm room, a bed, a tv, and a hot shower, this might not be the place for you. The dock of the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion on the shore of Lake Tahoe in Sugar Pines Point State Park. The lake is magical in itself, but sitting there enjoying the entirety of the scenery is breath-taking. The mansion tour is US $12 and a very nice docent led exploration. The grounds have a lot to see as it is a part of a larger state park. Cheaper than the Vikingsholm tour nearby and much less crowded.
