This motel doesn’t look like anything great from the outside but all the internal details (staff, handyman work, amenities, interior rooms…) is all really great! We chose this place because of the price, good reviews, allows dogs, and all season pool.

Clean room, excellent amenities (fitness room, free guest laundry, pool, hot tub activities room, daily activities, free bicycles for guest use, well equipped kitchenettes, daily breakfast offerings, etc) The only issue was when a young family checked in the room next to ours (no adjacent nighbors for the week prior) the rooms have very poor soundpoofing, you could hear the adults voices and a crying toddler almost as if they were in our room, not on the other side of a wall. In fairness, the rooms did have connecting doors (which were closed) that may have been a contributing factor). And, we had been spoiled by a week of quiet solitude in the off-season.

What a nice little secret our stay was so pleasant. The room was so clean The staff is so nice and welcoming when you arrive. The room had been shampooed it look like after every person because they allow animals, but I didn’t smell that there had ever been animals in the room. The hotel offers checkouts of sleds and daily activities. The room is remodeled and very nice having all the options available to us. I would stay here again if I was coming back to Lake tahoe.
